NVSC Future Stars Program Details

The NVSC Future Stars program is geared towards players U6 to U8. U9 players will be accepted on a case by case basis. The goal of the Future Stars program is to further prepare our younger players for more competitive soccer environments and training is under the leadership of Eber Martinez; assisted by Marco Borba.  Additional NVSC coaching staff will be engaged as well to provide coaching experience in the training of the NVSC Future Stars.

The Future Stars program is divided into three “sessions”:

  • Fall session will cost $300 and consists of training 2x per week for 9 weeks
  • Winter session will cost $150 and consists of indoor training 1x per week for 6 weeks
  • Spring session will cost $300 and consists of training 2x per week for 9 weeks

***Discounted cost of $650 for a one-time registration for all 3 programs.

During the Fall and Spring sessions, Future Stars will train on Wednesday and Friday evenings; Winter training day TBA based on facility availability.

In addition to the training, there will be four “Friendlies” per Fall and Spring session, with the majority being held at Hellwig Fields; Friendlies will be held on either Saturday or Sunday. Winter indoor activity dates and times are TBA.

Questions and Answers:

What is the Future Stars Program?  The Future Stars is a 10 month program. Broken
down into three distinct sessions. The focus is on the development of each individual
player.  The Future Stars will offer a developmentally appropriate curriculum that will
create a challenging and competitive environment.

Do I need to participate in all three sessions?  No, we have broken the program
down to allow for players to participate in Fall, Winter, Spring, or all three sessions
within the overall Future Stars Program.

Can I also play on a Recreational Soccer team?  Yes, you are more than welcome to
sign up for the Recreational Soccer program, along with the Future Stars program.
Does my child qualify age wise?  If your player's birth date is in 2014, 2013, 2012
he/she qualifies, if your player does not fit into these dates please contact futurestars@novasc.org.

How does my child join the Future Stars?  To qualify for the Future Stars a player
must participate in tryouts.

What are the commitments of Future Stars?  Future Stars will practice on
Wednesday and Friday evenings during the soccer year.  There will be Friendlies with
other CCL Soccer Clubs during the Fall and Spring sessions. All Practices will be held
at Hellwig Park.   Winter sessions will be focused on training.

Uniform?  Players will be required to purchase an NVSC Future Stars uniform (details to be
provided).
