NVSC Excited to Offer All-in-One Game Film System for Player Development
MANASSAS, VA + AUSTIN, TX (May 12, 2021) – Northern Virginia Soccer Club (NVSC) and Trace Soccer are excited to announce their club partnership for the 2021-22 season. The club initially tested Trace’s 30 Day Elite Trial with their 06 boys team, and will now be outfitting an additional 12 teams with the Trace game film system this fall. These teams will use the Trace platform to automatically film and edit games, be able to create shareable recruiting profiles with Trace iD, and receive custom content and continuing education for both players and coaches with Trace Workshops.
“As the only club in Prince William County to utilize the Trace platform, this will push NVSC to be a leading club in player development in this area. These tools will encourage our players to take a more active role in the development of their soccer skills and recruiting journey.”
– Bill Gregory, Executive Director, NVSC
NVSC is a premier soccer club that serves Prince Williams County in Virginia. They aim to provide an atmosphere where soccer players of all ages can have fun, learn sportsmanship, and develop their soccer skills. With Trace’s automatic editing software and best-in-class turnaround times, coaching staff and players will spend less time editing and/or waiting for game footage and more time analyzing video moments for player improvement.
“We are very excited to partner with Trace Soccer,” says Bill Gregory, Executive Director at NVSC. “As the only club in Prince William County to utilize the Trace platform, this will push NVSC to be a leading club in player development in this area. Trace’s centralized platform really sets it apart in the market. Players receive personalized, auto-edited playlists straight to their inbox and from there they can send moments to family and friends, share directly to social media, and compile their best moments to send to recruiting coaches, all under the same platform. These tools encourage our players to take a more active role in the development of their soccer skills and recruiting journey. We believe our players and coaches will benefit and enjoy working with Trace this upcoming season.”
Trace uses a robot camera, GPS sensors, and powerful software to automatically film and edit games, then sends personalized playlists to each player’s inbox after the game.
By combining automated filming, personalized moments, player performance data, and recruiting all in one platform that is seamless to navigate and easy to share, NVSC can equip the club with the tools they need to succeed at all levels of the game.
As video becomes more crucial than ever for player development and recruiting, NVSC understands that finding and implementing the right filming solution is key. Not only will Trace provide valuable player development tools; Trace helps clubs with player retention and can provide extra exposure to players looking to get recruited. With the average Trace game receiving over 1,600 moment views, both coaches and players continue to find value in the Trace system.
Northern Virginia Soccer Club joins over 70 other clubs and organizations that have partnered with Trace for large scale adoption within their organization.
